Skylum has released its seventh and final Luminar Neo Extension for 2022. It’s called Magic Light AI and it’s here just in time for the holidays! The tool lets you adjust light sources in your photos and give them shiny, glowing light beams. You know, to get that little extra sparkle in your Christmas trees and fairy lights.

With the Magic Light AI, you can manipulate multiple light sources in a photo. Skylum notes that it works best with artificial light sources like traditional light bulbs, street lights, decorative lights, and of course – fairy lights. We can’t have holidays without fairy lights! The extension’s neural network analyzes your photo, looks for any points emitting light, and gives you the power to tweak it. You can make the light more intense, add beams, and add glow.

As always, AI doesn’t have the entire control over your image. There are multiple sliders that allow you more control over the end result. You can tweak the intensity, size, a number of beams, beam width, brightness, glow, clearness, and rotation. Here are a few more examples other than the cat photo I obviously liked the most, because it has a cat in it. :)

Ivan Kutanin, CEO of Skylum, reminds you to test out the previous Luminar Neo extensions. You can combine Magic Light AI with the Noiseless AI and Supersharp AI for night photos, so your festive photos can be both sharp and magical.

While Magic Light AI is the last extension in this batch, it’s not the last one overall. Skylum is working hard to improve existing extensions but also plans to add more in the future. Another piece of news is that, from now on, you can buy each extension separately and customize your editing experience based on your needs. Keep in mind that Light AI and other extensions only work within Luminar Neo.

All Luminar Neo Extensions, including Magic LightAI, can be accessed as part of a monthly or yearly Luminar Neo Pro subscription, purchased as part of the 2022 Extensions Pack, or bought separately for those who already own a Luminar Neo lifetime license. Pro monthly and yearly subscriptions are available now, priced at €14.95/month and €9.92/month respectively. They include access to Luminar Neo and all currently available extensions, as well as all extensions released during the subscription period.

Through 15 December 2022, enjoy a special offer on Magic Light AI. You can find all the latest pricing information on the Skylum website. Luminar Neo is available in both the Microsoft Store and the macOS App Store.
